Sener has demonstrated its expertise in major healthcare projects. The new Málaga hospital in Spain, with a surface area of 270,300 m², is one of the largest healthcare infrastructures in Europe. We were responsible for all structural and MEP design, including a rooftop helipad. Internationally, our joint venture AIDHOS-Sener has participated in the design of the National Cancer Institute of Chile, contributing architectural and engineering solutions adapted to complex medical requirements.
We apply a lifecycle methodology tailored to healthcare environments. In the assessment stage, we analyse demand, functional requirements, and sustainability goals. During design, we integrate medical workflows with digital modelling tools such as BIM and energy simulations. Implementation covers EPC management with strict quality controls and coordination of highly specialised installations.
