Technological Leader with Impact Recognition

We recognise professionals whose technical leadership drives their teams and creates a tangible impact on projects and within the organisation.
This award values qualities such as the ability to lead complex projects, design disruptive solutions, create new business models and promote innovative commercial initiatives that open new opportunities for Sener.

The finalists for the Technological Leader with Impact 2024–2025 award were José Manuel Inclán, Jorge Vizcaya and Jesús María Ubillos, with Jesús María Ubillos named as the winner.

Project that challenges the boundaries of technology

We honour initiatives that achieve significant technological advances, delivering real value to our clients and contributing to societal progress.
These projects embody Sener’s pioneering spirit: vision, rigour and technical excellence in the service of innovation.

With a total of 29 entries submitted, the winner of the Project that Pushes the Boundaries of Technology 2024–2025 award was the Proba-3 space project.

Also reaching the final were the Chira-Soria reversible hydroelectric power plant, the CO2next liquid CO₂ distribution and storage project, and the underground section of Line 3 of the Panama Metro.

Chief Technical Engineers

Technical excellence, leadership and a passion for sharing knowledge

The Chief Technical Engineers (CTEs) are Sener’s technical benchmarks: professionals with a solid track record, recognised for their deep expertise, their ability to lead and manage complex projects, and their commitment to excellence.
Beyond their experience, what truly distinguishes a CTE is their passion for sharing knowledge. They act as mentors and guides for other professionals, contribute to developing new capabilities within the organisation, and help strengthen our technical and innovation culture.

Established in 2016, this role represents the highest level of technical excellence within Sener. To obtain and maintain this distinction, candidates are evaluated on their contribution to knowledge development, proven technical leadership, and active involvement in training and supporting other professionals.

At Sener, we believe that knowledge drives progress. That’s why our CTEs play a key role in ensuring our solutions are innovative, rigorous and aligned with the real challenges faced by our clients and society. Their work is a constant source of inspiration for all of us who share a passion for engineering and technology.
