Puertollano biomass plant

Sener has been awarded with the turn-key contract for a biomass power generation plant in Puertollano. The contract includes the design, supply, construction and commissioning, as well as the running and maintenance of the plant during its first two years in operation. For this type of plant, Sener has designed a high-efficiency regenerative thermodynamic cycle with reheating capabilities.

The biomass plant of Puertollano incorporates its own technological developments, a biomass boiler equipped with a water-cooled grill and a steam turbine with reheating. The cold focus of the plant will be of the wet type, by means of an induced draft cooling tower.
