Main technical characteristics:
With a total area of approximately 25,830 m², the Logistics Hub is developed entirely by excavation and includes a “Technical Area” of about 1,320 m² and 2 grade separations: one under the VILPL, for railway access, and another under the Porto Underground line for access by road.
The railway part includes the remodelling of the Leixões Line over an approximate length of 875 m and of the Hub access routes. The road part of the project includes the design of three roads (“Access to the Multimodal Platform”, “Access to the EDAR” and “Restoration 1”) with a length of 325.
Sener participated in the design of the accesses and replacement and drafting of the corresponding building projects (disciplines of the layout, embankments, drainage, surfaces and horizontal signalling).
